Well, now we have a little video showing some of the highlights of this wonderful evening, compliments of RC Studios. Enjoy!
This past Sunday, the Weddings by StarDust team pulled off another flawless event for a wonderful couple at the Renaissance Dallas Hotel. Zeena and Ayman’s travel-themed reception was elegant and fun – a perfect reflection of the two of them. Our expert wedding planners incorporated items such as globes and luggage to enhance the travel theme and brought in little special touches like a caricature artist to surprise and delight guests. We cannot wait to get the fabulous photos from the lovely and talented Amy Herfurth! In the meantime, here’s a little preview from our planners:
It’s such a busy time of the year, and our wedding planning rock stars have several weekends with multiple weddings. This past Saturday night had us hopping with two fantastic celebrations. Here are a few sneak peeks of the events!
Chemistry-themed Celebration at The Perot Museum
Katie and Sam met in chemistry class so we created a fun and quirky theme around this key piece of their history! So many great, ahem, elements to this reception. We cannot wait to get the official photos, but in the meantime, enjoy these smart phone captures!
Black and Gold Sophistication at Hotel ZaZa
Just up the street, Gina and Bryan celebrated their marriage at the glamorous Hotel Zaza. The uber chic ballroom was filled with black and gold elegance and lush, all-white floral by Posh! Here are a few teasers until we get the real-deal photos!
Way to go, Team StarDust! Congrats and best wishes to Katie & Sam and Gina & Bryan. Thanks so much for inviting us to be a part of your special days!
This past fall, our talented Weddings by StarDust team put together a stunningly beautiful and fun wedding for Trinh and Jeff. The sweet, traditional ceremony was held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, followed by the uber chic yellow and gray outdoor reception at the Nasher Sculpture Garden. Special personalized touches from this incredible event included a traditional lion dance, fireworks and an Efrog sendoff. Enjoy these lovely photos highlighting this wonderful evening from one of our faves, Allen Tsai! p.s. we LOVE wedding party’s gorgeous look, with the bride wowing us all in this amazing Hayley Paige bridal gown and her bridesmaids in Jim Hjelm Occasions. The cut-out details are killer!

Hosted by D Weddings in their posh downtown digs, the event offered brides, as well as their sister/best friend/mom/maid of honor, time to relax, sip Prosecco and get some great wedding advice.
The panel of three professional wedding planners fielded questions regarding creating realistic budgets, what to do first, new trends and even mother-in-laws! D Weddings Associate Editor Ryan Conner moderated the panel and told us that the event came to be out of a brainstorming session to connect their readers with their partners. “Connecting brides with the best wedding professionals in town to plan their perfect wedding day is what we strive to do – and it was fun to see it come to life in a fun event,” she said.
One of the hottest topics of the evening? What’s “in” and “out” as far as wedding trends. Newsflash: groom’s cakes and favors are no longer considered standard. Weddings do not have to have them! The audience got a kick out of this segment and loved hearing all three planners confirm: if you love it, do it. It is your day, after all!
The BNO was a great success, and the attendees loved the candid conversation, as well as the smaller, intimate feel of the event. Each bride was sent home with a sweet swag bag. The team at D Weddings envisions holding additional BNOs. To make sure you don’t miss out on the next one, subscribe to their newsletter.
