Q: How did your husband propose?
A: My husband told me to get dressed up. We would be going out to dinner for our 5th year dating anniversary. We went to one of my favorite hotels in Dallas, Crescent Hotel (where we spent our wedding night). He proposed in the garden and had one of my friends take our pictures. It was beautiful and so thought out. It was even more special because we got to take a picture where he proposed in our wedding attire when we checked in!

Q: How did you know your Paloma Blanca #4889 was the one?
A: I knew my dress was the one because I looked over at my mom, dad, and sister tearing up. Marianne helped me envisioned what it would look like after a couple of adjustments. I could picture my husband’s face when I had it on, and I just knew it was perfect. It was everything I described and so much more.
Q: What was your dress shopping experience like at StarDust Celebrations?
A: My sister shopped for her dress at Stardust in 2012 when she was planning her wedding (ended up getting her dress at Lulu’s). I knew I wanted to start there because of the large selection of styles. It was the first and only place I shopped because I fell in love with the 4th dress I tried on! (Thank you, Marianne!)
Q: What was the aesthetic of your wedding day?
A: My wedding was very classic, elegant, and timeless. It turned out absolutely like a dream. I wish I could relive that day, so I could see everything all done again. My vision came to life, and it was all because of our amazing parents and vendors!
Q: What was the most special part of your big day?
A: Seeing his face as I walked down the aisle. I can’t describe the feeling I had when I got to see him for the first time that day. He looked so handsome, and the moment was surreal.

Q: How did you personalize your wedding gown?
A: Marianne named my dress the “Whitney” Dress because of the tweaks I made to it. I didn’t make a lot of changes, just to the neckline in the front. I added a French silk belt and a different beaded belt that came with the dress (it wasn’t enough bling for me). It was such a simple dress, and adding my touches to it made it so cool. It was so pretty and matched the vibe of the wedding perfectly. – also, my husband loved it!
We loved Whitney’s style and her dreamy Knotting Hill wedding! Still, want to read more from our real StarDust brides for more wedding inspiration? Take a look at bride Kristen in a beautiful Sottero & Midgley wedding dress.
